31" Tall Octagon Floor Pedestal w/ 7 5/8" ID for McKenzie Pre-Fit Habitat
These bases are an exceptional way to display a shoulder mount, turkey, waterfowl, fish, or small to medium size mammals in style. Made to accept the McKenzie Taxidermy FHB245 or FHB246 or FHB243ev or FHB244 (plus others) 7 5/8" ID pre-finished habitats. Using these bases and pre-made habitats they can be ready to accept your mount in minutes. Additionally, they can be made with a flat top, perfect for a pedestal mount without any addiitonal habitat (same price) or in ANY size you desire (email for a quote).
They can be made from a variety of wood types, though barnwood, walnut, and oak are my prefered choices. While they are made to pre-fit a variety of standard habitats, they can also easily be outfitted with custom habitat. Should you desire to make your own habitat, please let me know and I can adjust the recess accordingly. The recess is currently set at ~2.5", but I can make it as little as 1" or even deeper if desired. OD is roughly 14". Fixed or removeable tops are available. Price is for the BASE ONLY, no habitat is included. Shipping on these can get expensive, so please bear with me. I have set a fixed price for shipping, and will only charge the actual shipping cost (sometimes less, sometimes more than the $75 quoted). If you overpay, I will refund your money. If you underpay, I will invoice you for the difference. You can also contact me for a quote prior to ordering.

The barnwood styles will vary in color and wood type. I will send photos of the wood available when you order, to make sure you approve of the tones. I can also add live-edge trim as an upcharge, if desired.

SHIPPING INFO
These are bulky and weigh ~30 pounds. The weight isn't the issue, but USPS, Fed-Ex, and UPS all up-charge for the large box. I will use the cheapest option, and as mentioned, either refund or invoice you the difference. Or, ask for a quote by providing me with your zip code!
